Creative process

With over thirty years of achievements to my credit, my progression took several avenues.

I passed from figurative sculpture to stylized sculpture (semi-figurative).

I exploited mythological themes, followed by what I called integrated sculpture or jewelled sculpture; integration of fine stone, fine wood and metal.

This idea of integrating different materials in the same work has remained, over the years, one of my production guidelines and made my work stand out from what was being done in sculpture.

Over time, I came to be represented by different prestigious galleries who have helped to disseminate my work.

I’ve been described as an artist of form and movement.

Today I still consider myself as an explorer of form and movement, but also matter, and this is refected in my recent production.
